Notes on collections and events at the RIHS
Here at the RIHS, we realize there are many ways of interpreting and presenting the history of a place; most of the time, we work with historic still images and original documents, newspaper articles and official records. But from time to time we get to see a place, and an idea—in this case, Providence—in a new way.
Douglas Brown is the Director of Writing Support Programs and an Adjunct Lecturer, in the Department of English at Brown University. He produced this video, which presents another way of seeing Providence. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
